The workspace¶
The panels¶
The window is made of panels you can move: the 3D view, the object tree, the object's details, the programs, the variables, the code. Each does one thing, and each is documented on its own page here.
Moving panels¶
Drag a panel by its tab to dock it somewhere else, or float it. The layout is yours and it is remembered — arrange it around the job you are doing rather than accepting the default.
The header¶
Across the top: the menus, the licence badge, and — for an admin or developer session — the update badge and the remote-support indicator. An operator running a cell sees none of the last three.
Saving¶
A project is one file. The header shows when there are unsaved changes, and there is an autosave behind it, but the file is only written when you save it. Save before exporting.
