Install on a desktop¶
Download the installer from apemill.com. The same download is the demo: without a licence it edits, saves and simulates, and cannot export a program.
Run the installer and follow it. It puts Stackmill in the usual place, adds a shortcut, and needs no further configuration.
Download the package for your distribution and install it the normal way. Stackmill needs a desktop environment — it draws a 3D view.
What gets installed¶
One application, and a folder for your work. Projects, settings and the licence live outside the application, which is why an update never touches them and why uninstalling does not take your programs with it.
